Kraków - Zakopane – Sandomierz – Kazimierz D. - Lublin – Gizycko – Malbork – Gdansk

THE ITINERARY

DAY1: Kraków

• arrival to Krakow around 6:30 am. Check-in at the hotel David from 2:00 pm, but earlier you can leave your luggage in the hotel.
• Sightseeing of Wieliczka Salt Mine – about 3 hours.
• in the afternoon visiting Old Town and city center of Krakow. Walking distance everywhere. Normally it takes around 4-5 hours (Old Town: Wawel Royal Castle, Colegium Maius, St. Mary’s Church, Main Square, some churches on the way to Kazimierz: Synagogue, jewish cemetery, Szeroka street, Pl. Nowy. If you have time you can walk bit further to Podgórze district: Schindler’s Factory, Ghetto Square).

DAY2: Baranów Sandomierski - Sandomierz

• 10 am – we meet at hotel and walk / tram to JOKA office to rent a car.
• then drive to Baranów S. (150km from Kraków), visiting the castle.
• then drive to Sandomierz (30 km from Baranów S.). Check in at the hotel Sarmata.
• City sightseeing: Main Square, the Underground Tourist Route (under Main Square), Cathedral, Castle and a few churches in Old Town.

DAY3: Kazimierz Dolny - Lublin

• after breakfast drive to Kazimierz Dolny (90km from Sandomierz). Visiting the Main Square, church, castle ruins, “Trzech Krzyży” Hill with nice panorama and nice walking places around.
• then drive to Lublin (53 km from Kazimierz D.). Check in at Vanilla Hotel.
• Sightseeing of Old Town, Main Square, cathedral with tower and nice town view, castle, Krakow’s Gate. The streets in old town are fantastic. You can have lunch in old town in Ceska Pivnica – Czech restaurant.

DAY4: Giżycko – Ryn

• after breakfast drive to Mazury Region - Giżycko (370 km from Lublin.) On the way you have the castle in Łochów (for example for coffee or lunch). Then drive further along really charming landscapes, full of forests and lakes. Check in at the Castle Ryn
• Car sightseeing of lake district.

DAY5: Malbork - Gdańsk

• after breakfast drive to Malbork Castle (225 km from Ryn).
• then drive to Gdańsk (70 km from Malbork).
• Check in at the Gdansk Apartment.
• Sightseeing of the city (Main street Długi Targ, St. Mary’s cathedral and Mariacka street, river Motława, Arthus House).

DAY6: Departure Day

• in the morning drive to the Gdansk airport
